Automattic, Inc.は、レンタルブログサービス「WordPress」をアップデートし、iOS向け最新バージョン「WordPress 7.0」をリリースしました。
今回のバージョンアップでは、通知画面に上下の矢印が追加され、前や次の通知が読みやすくなりました。また、新しい抜粋機能がエディタのオプション画面に追加され、記事に関する短い要約が書けるようになっています。さらに、母国語が右から左に書かれているユーザーへ、アプリのほとんどの画面で言語の執筆指向が尊重されるようになりました。

We have a few goodies to share with you with this update:
- First up, we added some up and down arrows to the Notifications screen. Now you can read the previous or next notification without having to tap back to the list. We hope this will delight all our fans of efficiency.
- If you like to write short summaries about your posts you’ll be pleased to see the new Excerpt feature added to the Options screen in the editor.
- Finally, as a special gift for all our users whose native language is written right to left, most screens in the app now respect your language’s writing direction.
