Niantic, Inc.は、現実世界そのものを舞台として、ポケモンを捕まえたり、バトルしたりできるゲーム「Pokémon GO」をアップデートし、iOS向け最新バージョン「Pokémon GO 1.7.0」をリリースしました。
今回のバージョンアップでは、「相棒ポケモン」を連れ歩けるシステムが実装されました。このシステムでは、相棒に選んだポケモンを一定の距離連れ歩くとそのポケモンのアメが貰えます。その他、卵がアニメーションなしで孵化するなどのバグが修正されています。
