Microsoft Corporationは、目の前の PC から別の場所にある PCに接続できるアプリ「Microsoft Remote Desktop」をアップデートし、Mac向け最新バージョン「Microsoft Remote Desktop 8.0.29」をリリースしました。
今回のバージョンアップでは、RDゲートウェイにおけるログオンの失敗や有効期限が切れた後のアプリケーション使用に関する修正が行われています。また、バージョンを27から28へ更新した際にアプリを開くことができない問題も修正されています。（この場合ユーザー側がアプリのアイコンを追加し直さなければならない場合もあるようです）

- Fixed an issue that caused “logon failed” errors with connections that use RD gateways.
- Fixed an issue with Azure RemoteApp where you had to restart an application after your credentials expire
- Fixed an issue where, after updating from version 27 to 28, you can no longer open an app from the Dock. This is caused by the app name changing between versions. You might need to remove and add the app icon again.
