「Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.8.2」Mac向け最新版をリリース。2つの新機能の追加など。

Microsoft Corporationは、iOSやAndroidからPCを遠隔操作できるアプリ「Microsoft Remote Desktop」をアップデートし、Mac向け最新バージョン「Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.8.2」をリリースしました。

今回のバージョンアップでは、新しい RDS AAD Auth Protocol の統合サポートと、AVD ワークスペースの更新に確定的な進行状況 UI の追加という2つの機能追加と、いくつかのバグの修正がおこなわれました。

「Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.8.2」の新機能

In this release we added two new features and included some bug fixes to keep things running smoothly. Thanks to everyone who reported bugs and worked with us to diagnose and fix issues.

On the new feature front, we:
• Integrated support for the new RDS AAD Auth Protocol which is used for authentication and session security.
• Added deterministic progress UI for AVD workspace refresh.

With respect to bugs, we:
• Resolved some of the top crashes reported by debug telemetry.
• Fixed a bug that was causing vertical lines to appear in the remote session rendering.
• Addressed a scenario where the app would hang when Slack was running.
• Correctly handled full-screen scenarios when "Displays have separate Spaces" is disabled.
• Fixed an issue that resulted in the caps lock state being incorrectly synced between client and server.

In addition, we continued to make performance and reliability updates to Teams redirection, and updates to improve AVD connectivity and diagnosability.
