Microsoft Corporationは、リモートデスクトップ接続アプリ「Windows App」をアップデート、Mac向け最新バージョン「Windows App 11.1.6」をリリースしました。

今回のバージョンアップでは、AVCコーデックのサポートを改善し、セッショングラフィックのレンダリング速度が向上し、ミスペイントが発生しなくなる機能追加や、いくつかの問題の改善がおこなわれています。

「Windows App 11.1.6」の新機能

In this release we made some bug fixes and included the following updates:

• Improved AVC codec support to ensure session graphics are rendered faster with no mispaints.
• Added a user default ("ClientSettings.RequireFreshCredentials") to block credential saving and usage.
• Added smart tip notifications that provide contextual usage hints (can be enabled or disabled in Settings > General).
• Improved multiple monitor support for remote sessions.
