iTunes K.K.は、アプリケーション開発ツール「Xcode」をアップデート、Mac向け最新バージョン「Xcode 27.0」をリリースしました。

今回のバージョンアップでは、Swift 6.4 と iOS 27、iPadOS 27、tvOS 27、watchOS 27、visionOS 27、macOS 27 用のSDKが含まれる対応などがおこなわれています。

Xcode 27 includes Swift 6.4 and SDKs for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, watchOS 27, visionOS 27, and macOS 27.

Accelerate your development with agentic coding that plans features, writes code, runs tests, and validates changes in previews and on device. Xcode has integrated support for agents from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI. You can also add any agent compatible with the Agent Client Protocol, and extend Xcode with your own skills and tools using the Model Context Protocol.

* Agent tools can now build your project, render previews with variants, drive your app in Device Hub, run tests, read the console, and search Apple documentation.
* Plan mode lays out your approach before any code is written, with plans rendered in Markdown, including diagrams and support for inline comments.
* Built-in skills help agents modernize your code with new APIs and best practices, covering SwiftUI, App Intents, universal sizing, accessibility, testing, performance, and more.
* Xcode services stay available to external coding agents at all times, including builds, previews, tests, and simulators.

* Device Hub unifies simulated and physical devices in one app, with dynamic resizing and adjustable appearance.
* Themes extend color and fonts throughout the interface, with new customizable presets and a theme you can set per project.
* String Catalogs help you localize your app with coding agents that can add languages, discover new strings, and use code context and prior translations to improve output quality.
* Express new project workflow lets you start writing code immediately, with no project configuration. And standalone Swift files render previews and playground results in the canvas.
* Previews display a grid of variations for any property with #Preview(arguments:), render multiple localizations, and resize to arbitrary canvas sizes.
* New instruments deepen performance analysis with Swift Executors for cooperative pool and actor activity, Foundation Models for prompts, responses, and token usage, and Core AI for tracing model execution.
* Organizer prioritizes performance work with a new overview of high-impact regressions, storage and hitch metrics, metric goals calibrated to similar apps, and agent-generated fix recommendations.
* Xcode Cloud helps you build high-quality apps, with a simplified setup, streamlined app record creation, and support for Apple Vision Pro and apps using Metal.
